Gauss' Law

Gauss’ law is based on the concept of integration of electric field over a closed surface. It is one of the fundamental laws of nature.

The total electric flux linked with any closed surface is equal to the ratio of the total electric charge enclosed by the surface to E is called as Gauss’ theorem.

Where E is electric field and dA is the area vector.
It helps to calculate the electric field due to any symmetric charge distribution.
